The path that a product takes from a producer to a customer consists of a series of steps. Market research, business plan, purchase of raw materials, production, and packaging, are just some of the necessary steps that need to be well thought through.

And once you have a quality product, it is necessary to present it to customers in a quality manner.

To enable you to dress your product in a striking outfit, and create professional-looking posts for Facebook and Instagram, we will teach you how to use a simple and fast graphic design tool - Canva.

This coming Friday, the Sweden/USAID FARMA II project will organize a webinar/workshop on Quality product presentation to customers - create your visuals quickly and easily! which will help you manage and improve your visual identity, aimed at achieving better sales results.

During this practical workshop, we will talk about the use of the Canva platform, introduce you to this tool, and answer any questions you might have, based on practical examples. The lecturer will be Selma Operhal, Sweden/USAID FARMA II project consultant.

The workshop will be held on Friday, December 11, from 11:00 – 13:00 hrs. over the Zoom platform. It is free of charge and will be open to organizations from the agricultural sector run by women.

To participate in the workshop please register via e-mail at lejla.polimac@farmabih.ba until December 10, at 16:00 hrs. The e-mail must include your name and surname, the name of the organization, and a telephone number.

Online panel discussion on the occasion of the International Day of Rural Women: Challenges We Overcame!

Over the last five years, the Sweden/USAID FARMA II project has been supporting and promoting the empowerment of women and their active participation in agriculture. Since its inception in 2016, the project has provided technical assistance to 1,439 women and has supported the work of 437 women-led producer organizations.

On the occasion of this year's International Day of Rural Women, marked on October 15, the FARMA II project will hold an online panel discussion, dubbed “Challenges We Overcame!”

The discussion will feature seven prominent women who enjoyed the support of the FARMA II project, and who are either running successful businesses or have significantly contributed to the economic empowerment of women in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Panelists include:

  • Aida Zubčević, owner of Faveda Ltd, a company from Sarajevo that produces dietary supplements and natural cosmetics based on medicinal herbs;
  • Ljiljana Čičković, Director of Women’s Center Foundation from Trebinje;
  • Jasmina Ćušić, owner of fruit and vegetables production company Eko Jasmina from Mostar;
  • Suada Mujkić, President of the Women’s Association Ruka from Tešanj; and
  • Jelena Mićić, Head of the Sokolac Regional Office of the Agricultural Advisory Services Sector of the RS Ministry of Agriculture.

Also, the stories of Ms. Indira Omeragić, Director of Milk Industry 99 from Gradačac, and Amina Muharemagić, Director of BeeMed from Tuzla, will be presented through videos.

The panel discussion will take place on Thursday, October 15, from 11:00 to 12:30 hrs, and will be delivered over the Zoom Platform in the local language and English.

Sweden/USAID FARMA II is organizing a webinar/workshop on “Canva: A Powerful Ally of Small Businesses!”, which will help interested organizations to better manage and improve their visual identity, with a view to achieving better sales results.

The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, from 11:00 to 13:00 hrs (registration is open until June 17, 16:00h).

SESSION 2 - Marketing during Covid-19 and after: how to find sustainable solutions?

Do you keep up with the time? The global impact of the coronavirus pandemic is also felt here, in our country. Most people avoid large gatherings and buyers are mostly at home. What are the consequences of the crisis and how will they affect your marketing?

Although it may seem to you that the world has stopped invisibly, fall silent - this is not the case. Stop, listen to all available channels and act - now. Think ahead. Think about how to stay strong in the customer's mind, how to maintain a presence, how to stay in contact with your customers during and after pandemic. Today, everyone is online. Therefore, your business doesn't have to be an exception. 

Participate in our workshop and find answers to these and similar questions! After the workshop, we can provide free marketing services to a certain number of organizations in order to help them in this challenging period.

Sweden/USAID FARMA II is organizing a webinar/workshop on "The importance of graphic design for successful online promotion!", which will help interested organizations manage their visual identity, with the aim of achieving better sale results. The workshop will be held in two terms:
