Sweden/USAID FARMA II is organizing an info session for all interested organizations that want to participate in the Request for proposals RFP-011-2020, which relates to the implementation of the implementation of the Promotional Campaign for Small Businesses. The session is scheduled for April 30 (Thursday) at 14:00h.

Organizations that register by April 29 at 16:00, via email grants@farmabih.ba  will receive access data to participate in this info session.


SESSION 1 - How to improve online promotion? Tips and tricks!

You are in the process of opening a Facebook page or Instagram profile, or do you already have them, but you are not happy with the results? Do you struggle writing posts? Don't know how to increase the number of followers on your page or profile? You want more likes, comments and shares on your posts?

Find out how! Participate in our workshop and you will get concrete tips, and learn great tricks to improve your online promotion and increase the number of customers.

Sweden/USAID FARMA II is organizing a webinar/workshop on "How to improve online promotion? Tips and tricks!", which will help interested organizations to create and manage promotional tools in the web environment. The workshop is planned in two terms:

  • April 29 (Wednesday), 11-13h (registration is open until April 28, 16:00h)
  • May 6 (Wednesday), 11-13h (registration is open until May 5, 16:00h)

The focus will be on using platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, the advantages of online sales, tips for successful sales, but also the most common mistakes that are present in practice. The lecturer will be Ejla Bektaš Hajdarović, Sweden/USAID FARMA II consultant. The workshop is open to organizations from the agricultural sector and is free of charge.

Participants will be present through a video and audio connection, and will be able to ask questions directly during the workshop.


If not now, when?: Online sales in agriculture (webinar / panel discussion)

We invite you to participate in a webinar in the form of a panel discussion on the topic of online sales in agriculture. Webinar will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 12:00h, via the Zoom platform. You can participate in the webinar using a computer, or one of the smart devices (phone or tablet), via the link that we will send you after registration.

The goal of the discussion is to introduce you to:

  1. online sales opportunities (Facebook, Instagram, Olx, website, shopping platforms)
  2. practices that are currently applied in the organization and implementation of delivery and sales,
  3. available options for card payment, and
  4. development of potential e- green markets in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Our esteemed panelists will be:

- Nermin Kadrić, eBios, online sales and delivery (Visoko)
- Jasmina Ćušić, Eko Jasmina, Facebook promotion and delivery (Mostar)
- Omer Zebić, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka, card-based payments (Sarajevo)
- Nikola Kužet, e-green market Farmica (Banja Luka)

We hope that this panel discussion will resolve your doubts about online sales and introduce you to examples from the agricultural sector, and help you find answers to all questions related to the establishment and successful functionong of online sales in agriculture. We will also discuss alternative online methods of accessing the market, developing a customer base in this period when everyone's movement is limited, as well as online promotion and product sales once the pandemic is over.

A special review is planned on the use of the Facebook page for the purpose of promotion and sale of products, and the representatives of the FARMA II project will introduce you to the possibilities of support in this process, both for those who still have no page, and for those who want to improve their page.
