Experts from the Sweden/USAID FARMA II project and the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber presented the results of foreign trade for the period 2015-2019
The analysis covers the dairy, poultry, fruit and vegetable sectors, as well as the sectors of medicinal plants, forest fruits and honey.
The biggest change was recorded in the dairy sector, where exports increased by 20% and exceeded BAM 106 million, despite the suspension of trade with Kosovo.
The fruit and vegetable sector recorded an export growth of 4%, and in the year 2019 more than BAM 188 million were exported.
In the poultry sector, we have seen an excellent export structure and growth in most markets, but the suspension of exports to Kosovo ultimately led to a decline compared to the previous year.
In the sector of medicinal plants, forest fruits and honey, we recorded a growth of 4% and this sector exported over BAM 41 million to 46 markets worldwide.
