USAID / Sweden FARMA II supported the organization of workshops in Olovo, East Sarajevo, Zivinice and Bratunac

Lectures in East Sarajevo and Olovo opened a series of lectures and workshops on the topic of diversification of berry fruit production in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Workshops and lectures are led by dr. Aleksandar Leposavic, activities supported by the USAID/Sweden FARMA II Project.

"After the lecture, we have planned workshops/field education in some of the nearby plantations of the high-grade blueberry. This event is an opportunity for all participants involved in the production, purchase, and placement of blueberries, as well as other berry fruit, to get acquainted with all the current trends and trends in modern blueberry production. The results achieved in the production and marketing of berry fruit in recent years, as well as the growing demands and opportunities in the production and export of blueberries, when BiH is concerned, sends a message about the importance and the success in this sector. Due to all of this, the goal of education and workshops is to gather key players in the production, purchase and placement of blueberries in BiH, transfer new knowledge and opportunities necessary for further work on strengthening, development and better positioning of berry fruit production in BiH", stated official from USAID/Sweden FARMA II.

"After East Sarajevo and Olovo, we have invited interested parties to take part in open lectures on Thursday, October 11, in the Hall of the Municipal Council in Živinice at 12 pm and Friday 12 October at the Bratunac Culture Center at 11 am. Lectures are open to the public", stated from USAID/Sweden FARMA II.
