The training was held in the State Veterinary Institute in Prague, September 12-16

In cooperation with the BiH State Veterinary Office and the Czech Development Agency, USAID/Sweden FARMA II project organized the training on the Detection of Lumpy Skin Disease with bovine animals.

The representatives of the Sarajevo Veterinary Faculty and the Veterinary Institute of Republic of Srpska “Dr. Vaso Butozan” had the opportunity to go through a practical training, which included the preparation and analysis of the samples, as well as reading of the results for the Lumpy Skin Disease. According to the participants, the training was very intense and very practical, enabling them to learn a lot over a short period of time about the detection of this dangerous disease, threatening farms in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
