Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership with USAID/Sweden FARMA II project is organizing a business visit of BiH companies to the International Food and Beverage Fair “Gulfood”, which will be held from February 26 to March 2, 2017 in Dubai.
The business delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, beside representatives of the organizers of the visit, will include representatives of seven BiH companies: AKOVA group, EIN Natural from Sarajevo, ESOF from Donji Vakuf, Halilovici from Ilijas, dairy Kupres Milch from Kupres, Madi from Tesanj and dairy Orman from Livno.
The goal of this visit is to support BiH companies to make direct contacts with potential buyers and learn about business possibilities offered in the UEA market, as well as other Gulf countries markets.
Fair “Gulfood” in Dubai is traditionally held for 25 years and is ideal place for export-oriented food and non-alcoholic beverage producers, equipment for hotels and food service providers who want to conduct business in the market of the Middle East and South Asia. It is considered as one of the largest food and beverage fairs in the world. At the Fair in 2016, around 5,000 exhibitors presented their products on approximately 120,000 m2 of exhibition space. Close to 100,000 visitors from 172 countries attended the Fair.
Within the “Gulfood” fair there is fair of halal products where BiH producers, which certified their products in accordance with this standard, can offer their products to potential partners.
