Following the introductory webinar on online sales in agriculture, the Sweden/USAID FARMA II project continues aiding agricultural producers through webinars on the concrete online promotion techniques.
On the next two Wednesdays, April 29 and May 6, from 11:00 to 13:00 hrs., the Sweden/USAID FARMA II project will continue providing concrete support to agricultural producers from across Bosnia and Herzegovina in setting up and improving their online presence and promotion of their products.
“Last Thursday we held a webinar on online sales in the agriculture where we gathered experts and practitioners from the agriculture, IT and banking sectors and we brought the concept of doing business online much closer to more than 70 agricultural producers," said Bill Mays, the Project Director.
“Now we are continuing to engage with the producers and to provide them with concrete support in establishing and improving their online presence and promotion of their products by using broadly available social media channels.”
The webinars for agricultural producers are set to continue in May with additional sessions covering the importance of graphic design for online promotion and highlighting the marketing opportunities during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The project is also in the process of hiring a service provider to implement a promotional campaign for more than 120 small businesses including agricultural producers, shops, and restaurants.
