Become Your Own Graphic Designer with Canva

SARAJEVO, June 17, 2020 - The Sweden/USAID FARMA II project will hold tomorrow a practical workshop for agricultural producers and small businesses on the use of Canva, a free online graphic design tool.

The workshop dubbed “Canva: A Powerful Ally of Small Businesses!” will be delivered over the Zoom platform. It will focus on the development and graphic design of social media visuals, logos, posters, flyers, and presentations.

“We use social media to promote our products, and it is very important for us to have appealing visuals which will have a greater reach and generate more feedback by our customers,” said Muamer Zubčević, Marketing Manager of Faveda, a producer of natural cosmetics and herbal remedies.

“I researched Canva a bit earlier, but since the Sweden/USAID FARAM II project announced the webinar I decided to register and take advantage of that opportunity to learn more. I look forward to seeing how much of Canva options I can use in my daily work.”

Sweden/USAID FARMA II project is helping develop BiH’s agriculture in the five sectors: dairy; fruits and vegetables; honey; medicinal and aromatic plants; and poultry. It is helping improve the domestic regulatory framework to align it with the EU acquis and is transferring necessary know-how to the producers to enable them to increase their production, improve the quality of their products, and meet the standards necessary for exports to the EU and other international markets.

The project also supports local agricultural producers in the promotion of their products, at both domestic and international markets.

The Canva workshop will take place tomorrow, Thursday, June 18, from 11:00 to 13:00 hrs. All those interested are invited to register via the link:
