The Fostering Agricultural Markets Activity II (Sweden/USAID FARMA II project), invites interested producer organizations, restaurants, and specialized stores in BiH to apply for the participation in the “Hrana Gurmana” or Gourmet Food campaign.

The Sweden/USAID FARMA II project, funded by the Government of Sweden and the USAID, invites all micro, small and medium producers of high-quality food from the fruit and vegetable, dairy, poultry, honey, medicinal and aromatic plants (including cosmetics), forest fruit, and mushroom sectors to express their interest for the participation in the promotional campaign for small businesses dubbed "Hrana Gurmana" or Gourmet Food.

The invitation is also open to specialized stores that offer these products, and the restaurants that use BiH products in their cuisine.

The goal of the "Hrana Gurmana" campaign is to help small businesses cope with the negative economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic by contributing to the expansion of their customer base and an increase in sales. The campaign will support small businesses in presenting their high-quality products and connect them with the fans of delicious and healthy food and natural cosmetics.

The “Hrana Gurmana” campaign will run over the next three months on five social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and the FARMA II project website www.farmabih.ba.

The campaign will promote 120 small businesses, including 100 producers, ten specialized shops, and ten restaurants that use domestic products in their cuisine.

The minimum eligibility requirements for participation in the campaign are:

  • Shops and restaurants must be registered as private companies, whereas producers can be registered as private companies or cooperatives producing high-quality products in fruit and vegetable, dairy, poultry, honey, medicinal and aromatic plants, forest fruit and mushroom sectors; and
  • Small businesses need to be will willing to work with the campaign and provide all the information and photos necessary for their effective promotion.
