Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Stevo Mirjanić, Mission Director USAID/Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Peter Duffy and Chief of Party at the USAID/Sweden FARMA II project Mr. Adrian Neal have agreed today in Banjaluka that more agile work on improving the competitiveness of local agricultural sector is needed.

"More agile work is needed in order to improve the competitiveness of local agricultural sector if we have in mind the consequences for the agricultural sector after the adapted Stabilization and Association Agreement has been signed", it was stated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska.

Participants agreed that in the coming period the main focus will be on improving the competitiveness of domestic agricultural production.

The discussion evolved around the main objectives of the implementation of the USAID/Sweden FARMA II project and cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. The participants expressed satisfaction with the cooperation.
